TO THE TEACHER --

The primary purpose of this book is to teach the alphabet names of the notes and
to promote fluent sight reading (not just of the notes, but of accurate rhythm, and
an awareness of dynamics, articulation markings etc.) The object of the Kingdom
of Stringdom Game is to reach King String's Castle. To do this, the student must
complete his travel through each of the 4 "Stringdoms" of G, D, A & E on the Map
by following the Clue Messages he receives from his teacher. Princess Treble Clef
acts as the guide to the young violinist. At the end the student receives a Proclamation
by King String, also a Certificate of Promotion to the Green Books (4th Year).
