The Chromatic Scale is introduced and presented in a variety of
challenging pieces. Spiccato is the new bow technique learned,
as well as dotted rhythms in various combinations. Vibrato
stresses finger to finger continuity in legato playing. Fun violin
antics, such as left hand pizzicato, harmonics, glissando,
pizz.-arco bow switching etc. are added for spice. Double stops,
rhythmic exercises, ties, solfège and note writing continue.
Included in this book are 6 duets, 13 piano accompaniments,
also music by W.A. Mozart, Mendelssohn, Waldteufel,
Offenbach, Bach, Shostakovich, Verdi, Gossec,Paganini,
Boccherini, Bartók, Brahms etc.
