![]() TO THE TEACHER -- This is a violin string crossing game with an American Old West theme. The technical aim is to achieve clean, clear string crossing through exercises presented in a graded order. The young violinist receives these exercises in the form of messages and clues, then plots his progress on a trail map until he reaches Tex Neek's hideaway, and receives the award. There are copious illustrations on cowboy and Indian themes by Shirley Givens and Grandpa Fred Givens. ![]() ![]() |
